At the young age of 14, Craig Zeller started washing trucks. From there, he turned his sights to driving tractor trailer in state, as well as performing maintenance on the equipment until he turned 21. At that point he made the swap to the operations side of the industry assisting in backhauls, outbound dispatch, local driving, and some fill in OTR driving for a small fleet in Slinger. After that, Craig took a position as a dispatcher/freight broker for a company in Milwaukee. As that company grew, so did his responsibilities that went above and beyond dispatching. At this point in life, Craig purchased a couple of trucks and trailers and leased them back to the company that he was working for. In June of 2002, Craig decided to make a life changing decision and took his trucks and trailers with him and started his own company. Thus was the birth of Zeller Transportation.
